You're right, I misread the options. A and D are the correct statements.

Ah, the RETURNING clause - the secret weapon of every database ninja! I'm voting for C and D, my friends. Though I have to admit, the single column thing in A sounds a bit suspicious. Maybe the exam writers are testing our knowledge of the finer points here.

Oof, this question is making my brain hurt. I'm going to go with C and D - the RETURNING clause seems pretty straightforward when you get the hang of it. Though I do wonder if option E is a trick question...do we even have remote or parallel deletes?

I'm not sure about remote or parallel deletes, but it's always good to consider all the options. Maybe option E is a trick question after all.

I agree, the RETURNING INTO clause is used to return column values for rows affected by DML statements. So option D is definitely true.

I think you're on the right track with C and D. The RETURNING INTO clause can indeed be used with DML that affects multiple rows if you use BULK COLLECT.

But doesn't the RETURNING INTO clause only work with single rows?

Haha, this is a tricky one! I bet the exam writers are trying to trip us up with those options. But I reckon C and D are the way to go. The RETURNING clause is a lifesaver when you need to access that data.

Definitely C and D. The RETURNING clause is super useful for getting data back from your DML statements. But I'm not sure about the single column thing in option A - I thought you could return multiple columns.

You're right, the RETURNING INTO clause can return column values for rows affected by DML statements. But I think you can actually return multiple columns, not just a single column.

Hmm, I think options C and D are the correct ones. The RETURNING INTO clause can handle multiple rows when used with BULK COLLECT, and it does return the column values for the affected rows.

I always use RETURNING INTO when I need to retrieve specific column values after an update or delete.
