Which three options would result in a billing event being excluded from an invoice?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B, C, E

Note:

* Events: To be included on an invoice, an event must meet the following criteria:

/ Event must not be already invoiced

/ (C) Event completion date must be on or before the bill through date

/ Event must be revenue distributed (for write-on revenue events only)

/ If the Date-Effective Funds Consumption option is selected, then the event date must be within the agreement start and expiration dates

* Billing Events: Billing events are events for which there is no associated revenue. Because billing events have not accrued revenue against an agreement, a billing event can be billed against any agreement that has sufficient funding to cover the entire amount of the event (unless an agreement was specified on the event).

I disagree. I think options A, C, and D are the ones that would exclude a billing event from an invoice. If no task is assigned, the event date is later than the invoice date, or the event is on hold, it shouldn't be included.

I agree with Jamika. If there's no event date, the event date is later than the invoice date, or no revenue amount is entered, it makes sense to exclude it.

Haha, imagine if the event date was in the future compared to the invoice date. That's just asking for trouble! Definitely go with B, D, and E.

Putting the event on hold is another sure way to make sure it doesn't end up on the invoice.

Definitely, not entering a revenue amount on the event would also cause it to be excluded from the invoice.

I agree, having the event date later than the invoice date is a recipe for disaster.

I agree with Teresita. Those three options seem the most logical to exclude a billing event. Though I'm not sure why you'd have an event with no revenue amount - that seems a bit strange.

Demetra: I'm not sure why someone would have an event with no revenue amount though.

Yeah, having no task, event date, or a date later than the invoice date makes sense.

I think B, D, and E are the correct options. No event date, event on hold, and no revenue amount would all exclude a billing event from the invoice.

Yes, those are the correct options. It's important to make sure all necessary information is entered to avoid exclusions.
