I'm not sure about option D, but I think A and B are definitely important for configuring a new interface permanently.

But what about option D) ipadm create-ip net2? Do you think that's necessary too?

I believe option B) ipadm create-addr --T static --a 10.2.3.5/24 net2/v4static is also used for permanent configuration.

I think option A) dladm set-linkprop mtu=1500 net2 is used to permanently configure a new interface.

I'd laugh if the answer was just D. Create the IP and call it a day! But I think A and B are the real winning combo here.

Yeah, creating the IP seems too easy. A and B sound more thorough.

I think D is also needed to actually create the interface itself.

But option A sets the link properties, which is necessary for configuring a new interface.

Ha! I bet the exam writer is trying to trick us with that IPv6 nonsense. A and D are the way to go - simple and straightforward.

Hmm, I'm not sure about C. Configuring an IPv6 address with a DHCP type seems overkill for a new interface. A and B make more sense to me.

Yeah, C does seem a bit overkill for just setting up a new interface.

I think options A and B are the correct actions to permanently configure a new interface. Dladm sets the link property, and ipadm creates the static IPv4 address.

Great, so using both options A and B will permanently configure the new interface.
