I'm going with C. The server needs to be taken out of maintenance mode. It's like trying to drive a car with the parking brake on, you know?

I think you're right. It's probably just a matter of updating everything first.

A) There is another update available and it should be applied before you can migrate your VMs.

B, without a doubt. All the Oracle VM servers in the environment need to be upgraded before the VMs can be migrated. It's like a domino effect, you know?

Haha, I bet the right answer is E. You gotta update all the VMs to re-authorize the upgraded server. Gotta keep those VMs on a tight leash, amirite?

I think it might also be because the server needs to be moved back to the same server pool as before.

I think it could also be D) The server should be move backed to the same server pool as it was prior to the upgrade. That could be causing the issue.

D, for sure. The server needs to be moved back to the same server pool it was in before the upgrade. That's the only way the VMs will recognize it as a valid migration target.

I think I missed that step. I'll move the server back to the original pool and try migrating the VMs again.

I agree with Peggie. It makes sense that all servers need to be upgraded first for the migration to work properly.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure it's C. The server needs to be taken out of maintenance mode before you can migrate VMs back to it. Seems like a pretty obvious one to me.
