Pegasystems Exam PEGACPSSA23V1 Topic 1 Question 2 Discussion

Actual exam question for Pegasystems's PEGACPSSA23V1 exam
Question #: 2
Topic #: 1
[All PEGACPSSA23V1 Questions]

A Fulfillment report needs to list the user ID of the employee who packages the items to ship in an Order case. The report provides information from the MyCo-Orders-Work-Ship and Data-Admin-Operator-ID classes.

Which two options independently satisfy the report requirements? (Choose two.)

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: A, D

To satisfy the report requirements, you can configure a class join on the Fulfillment report definition to join the operator information to each case. Alternatively, you can use an association rule to achieve the same effect. Both these options allow for the relevant operator information to be displayed alongside the shipping information in the report. Reference: Pega Reporting Guide - Joining Data.

I personally think option A is the way to go, with a class join for the report.

I disagree with Niesha. Option D might work, but it might not provide the most accurate and efficient result compared to configuring a class join like in Option A.

I think option D might also work. Using an association rule to populate the Fulfillment report could be an efficient way to include the user ID.

I agree with Lauran. Option A makes sense because it directly joins the operator information to each case in the report.

I think option A is a good choice. Configuring a class join seems like the most logical way to get the user ID of the employee.
