I agree with Trina. Option A is the logical choice here. Can't have the transform running multiple times for the same flow action, that's just inefficient.

Option A is the way to go. Adding the check in the pre-processing transform is the best way to ensure the values are only initiated once. Seems straightforward enough.

I'm not sure about that. I think option D) Configure the data transform as post-processing instead of pre-processing could also work to ensure values are only initiated once.
