Which of the following is NOT an output of the control schedule process?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: C

The project termination request is not an output of the control schedule. Early

termination of a project is a closing process and usually does

not stem from the project manager.

The outputs of the control schedule process are as follows:

Work Performance Measurements: The work packages and control accounts are documented and

communicated to the stakeholders.

Organizational Process Assets Updates: The assets that are updated are: corrective actions chosen

and the reasons, causes of

variance, and other types of lessons learned from project schedule control.

Change Requests: It is processed for reviews and disposition through the Perform Integrated Change

Control process.

Project Management Plan Updates: The elements that need to be updated are: schedule baseline,

schedule management plan, cost

baseline.

Project Document Updates: The elements that need to be updated in project document updates are:

schedule data and project

schedule.

Hmm, good point, Bernadine. But I still think C is the correct answer. A project termination request is more closely tied to the close project or phase process, where you're actually wrapping up the whole project or a specific phase. The control schedule process is more about keeping things on track, not pulling the plug entirely.

You know, I was thinking the same thing, but then I remembered that sometimes a project might need to be terminated during the execution phase. Wouldn't that create a project termination request as an output of the control schedule process? I'm not 100% sure, but it's worth considering.

I agree with Veta on this one. The control schedule process is all about monitoring and controlling the project schedule, so things like organizational process assets, change requests, and project document updates make sense as outputs. But a project termination request? That's a whole different ball game.

Ah, the control schedule process - a real head-scratcher, isn't it? Let's see, I think the answer has to be C) Project termination request. That's more of an output of the close project or phase process, not the control schedule process.

I believe Organizational process assets, Change requests, and Project document updates are all outputs of the control schedule process.
