Actual exam question for Salesforce's ARC-801 exam
Question #: 37
Topic #: 5
[All ARC-801 Questions]

Universal Containers (UC) has expanded rapidly in recent yean following a number of acquisitions. The new CMO wants to use all Leads from one of the acquired Salesforce orgs to luck-start a new targeted campaign in uC's mam Salesforce org. The acquired company would like to keep its Lead data because it enriches the Lead before it comes into Salesforce via third-party marketing tool and supports its direct sales channel. Beyond the Lead use case, both Salesforce orgs will remain completely independent from one another.

Which integration approach should a Solution Architect recommend between the UC mam org (the target org) and the acquired org (the source org)?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

Option D would involve discussing a strategy between the source organd target org Sales teams on the criteria of Leads to migrate from the source org to the target org, and migrating Leads to the target org after they are enriched in the source org. This would allow both Salesforce orgs to remain independent from each other, while also enabling UC to use all Leads from one of the acquired Salesforce orgs for its new targeted campaign. This would also preserve the value of Lead enrichment that happens in the source org via third-party marketing tool.

Option D is the way to go, no doubt about it. Keeping the lead enrichment process in the source org is crucial, and migrating the leads after that is the smartest move. Although, I gotta say, manually migrating leads every day? That's like trying to shovel snow during a blizzard. *shakes head*

Option D is the clear winner here. Migrating the leads after enrichment is the way to go. I mean, who wants to deal with unenriched leads? Not this guy, that's for sure. *chuckles*

Definitely, dealing with unenriched leads would be a waste of time and resources.

It's important to make sure the leads are fully enriched before migrating them.

Yeah, migrating the leads after they are enriched makes the most sense.

Hmm, Option D does seem like the logical choice. Why would we want to manually migrate leads every day? That's just asking for trouble. And deprecating the source org's lead data collection? That's like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

Exactly, cutting off the source org's ability to collect lead data doesn't seem like a good long-term strategy.

I agree with Daniela. Option D is the way to go. Keeping the source org's lead enrichment process intact is crucial, and migrating the leads after that makes the most sense.

I'm leaning towards option C, to streamline the process in the long run.

Option D seems like the best approach here. Migrating the leads after they are enriched in the source org makes the most sense to maintain the quality of the data. The source org should still have the ability to enrich the leads.
