Universal Containers has created a Discount Schedule with the override Behavior set to All Tiers and applied it to a Product. A sales rep then adds this Product to a Quote, manually changes the discount percent of a discount Tier, and saves the Quote.

Haha, the admin can just waltz in and change the discount schedule whenever they want? That's like the Salesforce equivalent of your boss changing your commission plan mid-quarter. Not cool.

Broderick: I hope the override amount stays the same once it's saved.

User2: Yes, that makes sense too. It's important for the sales rep to know when the override amount is final.

User4: I think clicking those buttons could also be a point where the override amount is locked in.

Hmm, I think the correct answer is D. Once the quote is approved, the discount override should be locked in. But who knows, Salesforce can be so unpredictable sometimes.

I'm pretty sure the override will stick if I save the quote, but I'm not totally sure. Discount schedules are a pain in the neck.

Wait, so the admin can still change the discount schedule even after I manually override it? That's messed up!
