Delegate admin rights? What is this, the '90s? D all the way, baby. Gotta keep that data on lockdown.

D) Create a permission set with the View All Data permission for the subset of users.

Ah, the classic 'compliance' conundrum. I'll have to go with D - don't want to get on the wrong side of the auditors, you know?

Hmm, I'm not sure. C seems a bit risky, opening up the View All Data permission for the whole role. I'd lean more towards D.

B is the obvious choice here. A new profile and role with the necessary permissions is the cleanest solution.

That makes sense. It's important to have a specific profile and role for this kind of access.

I think option D is the way to go. Creating a permission set with the View All Data permission seems like the most controlled and granular approach.

Creating a new profile and role might be too much work for this requirement.

I think creating a permission set would give the necessary access without compromising security.

That's true, maybe creating a new profile and role is simpler and more specific to our needs.

But wouldn't using a permission set for just a small subset of users be an overkill?

I'm not sure. Option D also sounds like a valid solution, creating a permission set.

Ooh, good point! I like that idea. A permission set would let us target the specific users we need without affecting the rest of the organization.

What about using a permission set? Wouldn't that be a good compromise between creating a new profile and role, and just enabling the permission for existing roles?

I think both options could be valid depending on the specific needs of the organization.

I agree with Arlene. We need to be really careful with sensitive data like this. Creating a new profile and role is the way to go, even if it's a bit more work upfront.

Yeah, but then you run the risk of accidentally giving that permission to more users than you intended. Creating a new profile and role is a more secure option, in my opinion.

I'm not so sure about that. Wouldn't it be easier to just enable the View All Data permission for the roles of the subset of users? That way, we don't have to create a whole new profile and role.

Hmm, this is a tricky one. I think the best option is to create a new profile and role for the subset of users with the View All Data permission. That way, we can ensure that only the necessary users have access to the sensitive data.
