Actual exam question for Salesforce's Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Accredited Professional (AP) Exam exam
Question #: 44
Topic #: 1
[All Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) Accredited Professional (AP) Exam Questions]

An administrator is logged into Data Loader with their own credentials to insert new Business Account records into their Salesforce environment. They forget to specify the Account Owner field in the import file.

Assuming there are no other issues, what should happen when the administrator uploads the import file?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: D

When using Data Loader to insert new records into Salesforce, if the Account Owner field is not specified in the import file, the default owner will be the user who is logged into Data Loader. In this case, since the administrator is logged into Data Loader with their own credentials, they will be assigned as the owner of all the new Business Account records. This behavior is consistent with the standard Salesforce rule that every record must have an owner.

I believe the import will succeed, but the administrator will be prompted to select a user for the Account Owner field.

I think the import will fail because all records in Salesforce must have an owner.

Haha, I bet the admin is going to get a nasty surprise when they try to upload that file! C is definitely the right answer. You can't just leave the owner field blank, that's a rookie mistake.

I agree with Micaela, I think the import will succeed but the administrator will have to manually select an owner.

Hmm, I'm not sure. D seems like a good option too. The admin could be named as the default owner if they don't specify one. But C might be the safest bet here.

But D could also work. The admin might be named as the default owner if they don't specify one.

I think the correct answer is C. The import will fail since all records in Salesforce must have an owner. That's a basic requirement we learned in the training.

I think option D is more likely. The import will succeed, and the administrator will be named as the default Account Owner.
