What is one benefit of holding regular system demos?

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer: B

One benefit of holding regular system demos is that execution can be measured across the whole ART. A system demo is a significant event that provides an integrated view of new Features for the most recent Iteration delivered by all the teams in the Agile Release Train (ART). Each demo gives ART stakeholders an objective measure of progress during a Program Increment (PI). The system demo offers the ART a fact-based measure of current, system-level progress within the PI. It's the true measure of ART velocity and progress. Achieving this requires implementing the scalable engineering practices necessary to support Continuous Integration across the ART. By holding regular system demos, the ART can evaluate the quality, functionality, and usability of the solution, as well as identify and resolve any issues, risks, or dependencies. The system demo also provides an opportunity for feedback and learning from the customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders, which can help the ART to align with the vision and goals, and to adapt to changing needs and expectations. I'm leaning towards option A, personally. I think being able to escalate problems to ART leadership is key. They can provide guidance and resources to help the teams overcome any roadblocks.

Haha, Carma, you're always looking at the big picture, aren't you? But I think you've got a good point there. Measuring execution is crucial for keeping the entire ART on track.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. I feel like option B is the most important benefit - being able to measure execution across the whole ART. That way, you can see how the different teams are performing and make adjustments as needed.

Option D is also a great benefit in my opinion. Reviewing deliverables with stakeholders helps ensure everyone is on the same page and that the final product meets their expectations.

Holding regular system demos is crucial for keeping the team accountable and ensuring the project is on track. I think option C is the best answer here - being able to identify bottlenecks early on is key to addressing issues before they become major problems.
