A? Really? No activation code, no settings? That's just lazy programming if you ask me.

C) In the example displayed in the exhibit, the Application Control Protection Module has not yet been enabled. Once it is enabled for this virtual machine, the corresponding settings are displayed.

A) In the example displayed in the exhibit, no activation code was entered for Application Control. Since the Protection Module is not licensed, the corresponding settings are not displayed.

B) These settings are used when both an host-based agent and agentless protection are available for the virtual machine. Since Application Control is not supported in agentless installations, there is no need for the setting.

B seems like a logical explanation, but I'm not totally convinced. Why would they show the Protection Source setting if Application Control wasn't supported?

D has to be the right answer. The VMware Guest Introspection Service is required for agentless Application Control, and it's not installed in the example.

I think the answer is C. The module hasn't been enabled yet, so the settings aren't displayed. Simple enough.

So, it looks like once the module is enabled, we should see the corresponding settings for Application Control on the virtual machine.

That makes sense, without the module being enabled, there wouldn't be any settings to display for Application Control.

I agree, it seems like the Application Control Protection Module just needs to be enabled for the settings to show up.

Hmm, that makes sense too. I guess we need to make sure the module is enabled before expecting to see the settings.

I disagree, I believe the answer is C. Once the Application Control Protection Module is enabled, the settings will be displayed.

I think the answer is A. If the Protection Module is not licensed, then the corresponding settings won't be displayed.
