D? Really? The backend performance metrics? That's just silly. This is clearly a question about VM availability, not some obscure performance data. I'm going with B, the cluster will stay up and running.

Haha, I bet the VMs will experience some serious dance moves if they lose their data! But in all seriousness, I think B is the correct answer. vSAN should be able to keep things running even with a couple of hosts down.

C seems like the right answer to me. If two hosts are down, the cluster won't have enough redundancy to keep the VMs accessible. This is why you need at least three nodes in a vSAN cluster, right?

I'm pretty sure the answer is B. The cluster should still be fully operational, even with one host down for maintenance and another losing network connectivity. vSAN is designed to handle these types of scenarios without disrupting VM availability.
