I agree with you all. Plus, if we start with the negative stuff, they might just tune us out. We want to keep them engaged and show them that we have a solid solution that will actually work.
Absolutely. Executives are busy people, and they want to see that we've done our homework and have a clear plan of action. Showing them the problem and then presenting the best solution is the way to go.
Yeah, I'm with you on that. Providing a wide range of facts and figures might overwhelm them, and assuming they have little knowledge could be seen as condescending. Keeping it focused on the solution is key.
I agree. I think option D is the best answer. Recommending a solution and explaining why it's the best option available shows that we've thought through the issue and have a proactive approach to solving it.
I think this question is trying to test our understanding of effective communication with executives. Focusing on negative issues first to get their attention seems like a poor approach. Executives likely deal with a lot of problems already, and I don't think starting with the bad news is the way to go.
